Terms of Service & Data Protection Policy

1. End User License Grant

HUMATIC grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and execute the HUMATIC mobile application on compatible mobile hardware legally owned or controlled by you, solely for monitoring and agricultural automation management.

The User expressly agrees not to: (i) Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble application binaries; (ii) Sublicense, lease, distribute, or commercially exploit the software without written authorization; (iii) Interfere with, bypass, or overburden HUMATIC’s cloud servers and API infrastructure.

2. User Accounts & Credential Security

To monitor and control physical IoT hardware remotely, the User must register and authenticate an account using valid credentials. The User is responsible for:

• Ensuring the veracity and timeliness of registration details and updating them whenever modifications occur.
• Safeguarding login passwords and authentication tokens. The User assumes full legal accountability for all equipment commands (pumps, solenoid valves, nutrient dosers) issued through their account.
• Promptly notifying HUMATIC technical support upon detecting or suspecting any unauthorized account intrusion.

3. Hardware Operational Safety Standards

As the software interfaces with physical electrical equipment and fluid systems (irrigation pumps, solenoid valves, EC/pH automated dosing units), the User agrees to adhere to the following safety rules:

• Ensure all electrical installations powering controllers and actuators are equipped with standard safety breakers, proper grounding, and thermal overload protection.
• Thoroughly verify scheduled automation routines and threshold conditions before enabling unmanned autonomous operations.
• Refrain from deploying the platform in high-risk life-critical applications or environments outside HUMATIC’s technical specifications.

4. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, cloud services and software are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. HUMATIC shall not be held liable for indirect damages, crop losses, or economic detriments resulting from:

• Grid power failures, local internet disconnection, or telecommunication outages at the farm installation.
• Mechanical plumbing ruptures, valve blockages caused by sediment, or malfunctions in third-party actuators.
• Metric inaccuracies arising from neglected sensor cleaning or failure to perform periodic calibration.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights pertaining to the software, source code, hardware circuit designs, agronomic control algorithms, visual interfaces, and the "HUMATIC" trademark remain the exclusive property of Humatic Company Limited. Any unauthorized reproduction or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.
